Disclaimer

While operated by certified specialists, our services do not replace usual routine professional medical care. Clients must maintain ongoing communication with their healthcare providers for diagnosis, treatment, and emergencies.

2. Scope of Services

The services provided by Ticked Bucket List include:

  1. Risk Assessments: Identifying potential travel-related risks for individuals with chronic pain.

  2. Travel Recommendations: Providing advice on pain-friendly accommodations, activities, and mobility aids.

  3. Pain Monitoring Tools: Offering digital tools to log pain levels, triggers, and treatment outcomes.

Limitations

  • Ticked Bucket List does not provide emergency medical care or legal advice.

  • Recommendations are based on the information provided by the Client and are limited to non-emergency situations.

  • The Client bears responsibility for complying with the legal status of medications and treatments in their destination countries.

3. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the effectiveness of our services, Clients agree to:

A. Accurate Disclosure

  • Provide complete and truthful medical history, including medications, allergies, and limitations.

  • Notify Ticked Bucket List of any changes to health status during the service period.

B. Compliance

  • Follow the recommendations provided by Ticked Bucket List and healthcare providers.

  • Adhere to all legal requirements for medications in travel destinations.

C. Insurance

  • Obtain appropriate travel insurance covering pre-existing conditions, including chronic pain management.

D. Emergency Preparedness

  • Carry necessary medical documentation, including prescriptions and doctor's notes.

  • Familiarize yourself with emergency medical services at your travel destination.

4. Risk Acknowledgment

Traveling with chronic pain involves risks, including:

  • Pain exacerbation due to environmental factors or physical activity.

  • Adverse medication reactions.

  • Limited access to healthcare services in certain regions.

Ticked Bucket List aims to mitigate these risks but cannot eliminate them. The Client assumes responsibility for decisions made based on the ticked Bucket List’s recommendations.

5. Data Privacy and Security

Ticked Bucket List adheres to global data protection laws, including GDPR and HIPAA, ensuring the confidentiality and security of Client data.

  3. Clients agree to indemnify and hold Ticked Bucket List, its employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims or damages arising from service use.

9. Medical Advice Disclaimer

  1. The services provided are complementary to, and not a replacement for, clients' usual primary and/or tertiary health and medical care processes, diagnoses, or treatments.

  2. Clients are responsible for consulting their healthcare providers before acting on any recommendations.
