Physical Activity Assessment Tool for Chronic Pain Travelers
Welcome to the Physical Activity Assessment Tool
This tool is designed to help individuals with chronic pain assess their physical activity levels and determine if they meet the recommended minimum activity levels. By considering your current physical activity routines, the tool provides an overall score based on MET-equivalent activity points, helping you to understand better how your activity levels may affect your health, especially when preparing for travel or managing chronic pain.
Note: The tool uses the MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) values for common activities to calculate your activity score, which can guide you in making informed decisions about your physical activity during travel or everyday life. One session is equivalent to 30 - 60 minutes of light activities (MET value 3.0–4.5), or 20-30 minutes of moderate activity (MET value 3.0–4.5), or 10-15 of vigorous activity (MET value 6.0–8.0).
Disclaimer: This tool is intended to provide a general estimate of physical activity levels and is not a substitute for medical advice. Please consult with a healthcare provider to tailor activity recommendations specific to your health condition.
